I thought it was a 4 star hotel but it was more like 2. The gym and pool were a 10 minute walk away instead of close by.

Would stay here again! Everything is great here, had a really comfortable stay for the price. The location is central. For tea and goodies visit Krispy Kremes, located close by. The room is well priced.

The bed in our room 120 needs to be condemned, so poor bad evenings sleep as very uncomfortable the next day.

    Nothing

The staff were rude and abrupt. The room key did not work several times. The bed was uncomfortable, old and dirty. The bed also moved when sat up and caused it to roll over my partners toe. Carpets and general decor was worn and tired.

Room felt large and newly renovated, especially the comfy bed. Nice touch with complimentary drinks and biscuits.

The trek to the room after check-in can feel like a mini expedition, especially when you're tired. A fire alarm caused some confusion and a bit of an unwelcome interruption, but it eventually cleared up. Noticed a lack of any sort of ventilation in one of the themed rooms I checked out-noisy Dyson fan just couldn't cut it, and hidden tea and coffee facilities under the TV were inconvenient. The bathroom shower pressure left something to be desired. It seemed like a weak trickle rather than a refreshing blast. All things considered, nice hotel, but a few tweaks to the details could elevate it significantly.

Staff were pleasant and had night time coverage on reception. Room was clean and tidy and bed was very comfortable although expensive for the overall quality.

You have to spend £8 to park in the carpark and the bar was not fully stocked of products advertised for sale such as cocktails.

Very average and not good value for money. Tried to charge £7 parking too!

    Not so grand stay

Checked in for a few nights. The room was a bit tired and reminded me of a throwback to the 90s. The breakfast was pretty disappointing. I mean, how hard is it to cook bacon right? Honestly kept me from trying dinner at the hotel. On the plus side, the bed was comfy, nice. Sad to say, would not return.

The location of my room right at the far end of the hotel ensured that it was eacefully quiet. The room was quite spacious too.

The long walk to get to my room took an age. The car parking considering you were stating at a room rate of £160 per night, was very extortionate at a discounted rate of £8.
